SPDG Technologies Plc (SPDG Tech) is a UK-based Company committed to the global development of selected, cutting-edge technologies rooted in the rural economy and based on agriculture. The Company aims to develop technologies and products within a series of agri-based projects that will be sustainable, commercially viable and which will benefit the environment as well as the local economy.

Company strategy is based on three key factors. First, the very high levels of concern expressed by governments and international agencies at the potential for the further collapse of the rural economies worldwide, leading to greater mass migration of the rural populations. Second, the ever-increasing levels of environmental legislation requiring the introduction of renewable, recyclable and biodegradable materials into manufacturing processes in the automotive, construction and electronic industries. Third, the exorbitant cost of western synthetic drugs, which is driving a frantic search for natural remedies and medicines that can be produced where they grow at prices that developing countries can afford. These three factors combine to offer a unique opportunity for new, sophisticated technologies, based on agriculture, which can be implanted into the global rural economy to the benefit of populations and the environment.

Searching globally for potential investments in relevant environmental technologies, SPDG Tech seeks to implant those technologies into the culture, economy and technical infrastructure of rural communities in selected countries.
