SPDG Technologies Plc Appoints Senior Investment Specialist as Non-Executive Director

SPDG Technologies Plc is delighted to announce that Jonathan C. R. Morley-Kirk, Chairman of Fox-Davies Capital, has agreed to join the SPDG Board in a Non-Executive capacity. The appointment is designed to strengthen the Board and management team as the Company enters a period of management restructuring and business refocus prior to refinancing and listing on AIM in the second quarter of 2008.

Mr Morley-Kirk is a highly experienced chartered accountant with many years of City work. He has considerable experience in Investment and Fund Management, having held executive positions as Director with several major companies in the sector, including Midland Bank, Kidder Peabody, SG Warburg and Brown Shipley.

He is the chairman of Fox-Davies Capital Limited, the London-based natural resources focused stockbroker. He is also a non-executive director of Cardinal Resources Plc and Dimension Resources Plc, which are both listed on AIM. He is a Jersey resident and a director of a number of offshore investment structures. He specialises in structuring and managing investments in emerging markets. He is a Fellow of the Securities Institute, a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and a Member of the Expert Witness Institute.

Richard Hargreaves, the new Chairman of SPDG Technologies expressed his pleasure that Mr Morley-Kirk had agreed to join the SPDG Board.
