Shareholders are advised that there is a scam operating in the USA where apparent bucket shop operations acquire shareholder lists of various publicly-quoted companies. They claim, either that the stock is restricted and can be de-restricted to increase share value or that the Company is about to go into liquidation and that, providing the shareholder moves quickly, they will buy the shareholding at a greatly enhanced price compared to market.

The Directors of SPDG wish to make it clear that there is no restricted stock, the Company is not in risk of liquidation and that the Companies or individuals pushing these transaction appear to be extremely questionable. They have no association with SPDG and have no entitlement to stock. The matter has been reported to the UK authorities - but it is up to individual shareholders to be aware of this problem and to resist the blandishments of the people involved.
